Jan 23, 2014· Got a question....not that I'm interested in doing either one but had a chat with a friend about "smoothing out" the actions on revolvers (I guess on semi's as well) by brushing on a coat of either toothpaste or fine valve grinding compound all over the working parts of a handgun and then dry firing a lot and then doing a really complete clean and re lube.

Thing is i cant seem to find the stuff in the little pint (less then a pint) cans anymore. The way they USE TO sell the stuff. With the cource compound on one side and fine on the other.
